Cordless drills, or cordless screw gun, have many different features. The Craftsman Cordless Power Drill has multiple speeds and multiple directions that you can control using the lever. It also has a clutch used when using a screw gun or drilling. You would set the clutch to drill bit. Setting it on speed level 1 gives you more strength and torque. Setting speed level 2 gives you more speed.

Power Drill

  • Place the drill bit inside and then tighten the chuck until it clicks
  • Turn the drill to the higher speed and drill setting.
  • In the forward position, set it to the object you would like to drill and pull the trigger, turning on the drill

Power Screw Driver

  • Attach a screw bit and tighten the chuck
  • There are multiple attachments you can use for this
  • Set the speed to 1 or a lower speed with more torque
  • Set the clutch to how deep you want the screw to go
  • Put screw to material and turn it on
  • Drill in screw until you hear the tool rattle, and the drill bit stops turning

Power Sander

  • There are different attachments you can use for this tool to sand or finish projects
  • There are grinding wheels, finishing wheels, and even sanding wheels
  • For sanders you can go on either speed
  • Make sure the sander runs in the direction on the side the sand paper is
